Overall this Summer School was an amazing experience for me. The courses covered everything there was in the topic of dementia: clinical approach, different types and detailed diagnostics of each one, research in the field in the past, present and future. For me, it was a huge motivation boost and it encouraged me even more to go into neurology after finishing medical school. Also, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet amazing people who studied all over Europe, to exchange experiences and (maybe) built some long-lasting friendships.

In general it was an amazing opportunity to broaden my knowledge about dementia, I liked the approach of the professors and I got impressed by the functioning and equipment in the University of Crete.

This summer school was an amazing opportunity for us as medical students and future doctors. It was very well organised and included a plethora of information and skills that we will use to further help patients with dementia and AD. It was an experience I will never forget.

I feel very fortunate to have been part of this summer school, which was even better than i expected! The lectures were very interesting and a good range of subjects was presented. The welcome dinner was really lovely, the excursion to Spinalonga was so interesting & we all had a really fun day filled with great memories of the trip!... Crete was the perfect setting, such a gorgeous island! I would definitely recommend this summer school course to all medical students!
